Super Bowl Sunday

Staff preparing for Super Bowl Sunday

As Super Bowl Sunday rapidly approaches it makes me wonder how my day to day practice would change if orthodontists had a contest to see who was the best? East of the country verses the West. Town by town. Would it divide us or make us stronger? We have the opportunity each day to treat our patients like we are training for the super bowl. We want the trophy and the rings!

Here at Family Orthodontic Care we hone our skills with continuing education opportunities. Dr. Susan Davis has completed her masters level in Invisalign treatment and is currently doing tooth movements with clear plastic aligners that are difficult if not impossible to do with traditional braces. Dr. Jennifer Lowney just returned from a seminar to learn the most efficient way to correct an overbite. As the technology changes we change to keep current.

The way we treat our patients is constantly changing to make sure that you are getting the very best care possible. And that care isn't limited to straightening teeth. Both Drs. Davis and Lowney will be heading to Boston this month to learn how we can participate in helping those with obstructive sleep apnea: a dangerous medical condition that can be treated by the orthodontist along with your physician.

So throughout the year we make small and effective changes to make your experience the very best it can possibly be. We realize that your time is valuable and we want to make certain that we don't squander a second. Whether it is in the bonding material used, new types of metal in the braces and arch wires or a new computer software system, we are always making small changes to be the best.

It doesn't look like orthodontics with start their version of the super bowl, but if they do, we will be positioned to give it our very best effort to win!
